Summer 2017

I’m not doing a lot musically this Summer, (what with having a day job and everything) but what I am doing is delightfully varied and in wonderful places. If you’re in the vicinity, come give us a hug. In November I’ll be back in the Netherlands…

Breathe Fire

As some of you might remember, a few years ago I shaved off my hair and beard to raise money for the Bhopal Medical Appeal. It went extremely well, we had a fantastic evening and raised over £5,000. I carry the ‘Bhopal Beardpal’ moniker with pride! The Bhopal Medical Appeal do a fantastic job in…

Joanna On The Water

I’ve done quite a few workshops like this recently, they tie in very nicely with the process of writing songs for the ‘Found’ project. The found photographs…

Paul Armfield’s Friends Society

Greetings! Orphaned by my record company as it drew it’s last breath earlier this year, and twice snubbed by the Arts Council as not worthy of their funding, I find myself abandoned, left to fend alone, a bearded singer/songwriter adrift in a world already drowning in bearded singer/songwriters. Sniff. But this is no sob story,…
